Khoja Mahmud Anjir Fagnavi was born in the village of Anjir Fagni, Vobkent district, and died there. The current name of this village is Anjirbog.




Khoja Mahmud Anjir Fagnawi learned the science of life and science from Hazrat Khoja Arif Revgari. According to Ali Safi's book "Rashahotu Ainul Hayat", Khwaja Ali ar-Romitani asked Khizr, peace be upon him: "Who can hold the skirt of this age, saying that it is the age?" When he asked, Khizr, peace be upon him, said: "Khoja Mahmud Anjir Fagnavi is the murshid of this era!" those who say Khizr peace be upon him. According to his recommendation, Khwaja Ali ar-Romitani became a murid of Khwaja Mahmud. A new mausoleum was built over the graves of Khoja Mahmud Anjir Fagnavi, a pool and a mosque were built next to the mausoleum, and this place became a prosperous place of pilgrimage.We get know useful information

One of the major figures and theoreticians of Khojagon-Naqshbandiya sect. He studied Sufism from Abdukholiq Gijduvani. He wrote the treatise "Orifnama" discussing the main aspects and theoretical issues of Sufism. Revgary died in 1259 and was buried in Shafirkon. A mausoleum is built over his grave, and mosques and mausoleums around his grave become places of pilgrimage.

 ABDUKHALIK GIJDUVANI  Today with our groupmates we visited Khoja Abdulhalik al Gijduvani which located in Gijduvan district. Abdulkholiq Gijduvani was born on March 24, 1103. He memorized the Qur'an at the age of 9 . From the age of 10, he actively participated in the chanting of dervishes. At the age of 22 , Yusuf met Hamadoni and became his disciple. Devoting himself to prayer and poetry, he completed 5 works throughout his life. Among them, the work "Maqamoti Khoja Yusuf Hamadoni" ("Khoja Yusuf Hamadoni's virtues") covers the biography of his teacher and his teachings.
